Tofelmire matrix band

Tofflemire and Nystroem Type 8 matrix bands are stainless steel anatomically preformed bands used in combination with a matrix retainer for the contouring of restorative materials. It enables to perform restoration with anatomic proximal contours and contact areas while creating a temporary interproximal surface. Tofflemire matrix retainers secure the appropriate Tofflemire matrix band in place.

As circumferential system, Matrix band and retainer provides anatomic proximal contour and contact areas with reduced marginal overhangs. In addition, the matrix system favors the stability of restorative material condensation during treatment.

Matrix bands are anatomically preformed. Special care is applied during the finishing step of the bands. With smooth edges and mirror finishing, bands increase patient comfort and avoid trauma.

Matrix retainers can be used lingually and buccally. The non-slip grip of the product improves its handling.

Tofflemire matrix retainer is available in 3 different configurations (Universal, Junior, Senior). Junior retainer and Senior retainer are respectively designed for small mouth and large mouth, while Universal retainer is adapted to a large range of mouth.

Anatomically preformed Tofflemire and Nystroems Type 8 matrix bands are respectively available in 7 and 6 different shapes. All bands are available in two different thicknesses (thin 35 µm and x-thin 50 µm). Assortments are available, including retainers and bands or different bands configurations.
